Victorian Young Labor Conference
All Victorian Young Labor members are invited to attend the Annual Victorian Young Labor Conference, which takes place annually on the first weekend in August, at the New Council Chambers of Trades Hall, 54 Victoria Street, Carlton South.
The conference is an exciting opportunity for all members of Victorian Young Labor to come together to discuss and debate a variety of issues that will formulate official Victorian Young Labor policy for the coming year.
It features a number of social events, and we are joined by a variety of guest speakers, the details of which will be circulated closer to the event.
We run a participatory model, entitling all Victorian Young Labor members with three months continuous membership to vote for their representatives and participate in the Conference. If non-members or ineligible members are interested in attending, provisions can be made. Please contact the VYL President if you are interested.
Under the new Victorian Young Labor model, all financial members of the Victorian Branch under the age of 26 on 1 January with three months continuous membership at 2 August 2014 can register to vote and participate in the Conference.
To register, please fill out the Registration/Nomination Form which is circulated approximately four weeks before the conference.
Please be aware that registration for conference opens 4 July 2014 and closes 18 July 2014. Requests for registration outside of this period will not be processed as deadlines will be strictly adhered to.
Please have Photo ID with you on the day. Conference will open at 9am on the Saturday and 10am on the Sunday. More details about the agenda will be sent out prior to conference.
